Andrew Lim started his culinary career at The Bristol, a neighborhood eatery in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. Later, he went west – to open a pizzeria in Oakland – then east – to cook a season on Nantucket – before turning to Chicaago as part of the opening teams for Formento's (B Hospitality Group), Swift & Sons and Cold Storage (BOKA Restaurant Group).

In 2018, Andrew opened City Rock Korean Kitchen in the Loop with co-owner and brother, Billy Lim. A year later, alongside childhood friend and General Managing partner, Thomas Oh, Lim opened PERILLA korean american fare. With passion and vision, he continues to share his culture and cuisine with the city of Chicago through PERILLA korean american steakhouse in L7 Hotel Chicago.
